The portion that inserts into the wand will cost 14 to ship, the other end is smaller so the shipping for that would be 8. I'll have to check & see how to take it apart. |

What I need is the plastic and metal assembly in your first photo. It's very easy to remove. Just take out the two screws on the underside of the handle and carefully lift the insert they hold in place off the rest of the handle. Start from the end where the female plug is, just below the metal part that goes into the top of the wand. Once you've got it about halfway removed, slide the bottom end of the insert forward to disengage it. You may need to wiggle it a bit from side to side. Once the insert is removed, the hose will slip easily off of the handle. Just be careful not to snap the insert in half. The plastic is very thin where it makes the bend.
