As ya can see i connected both hose to make it longer , yes no leak new bag as other was was full of pet hair and dirt . So for best performance i put a new enviro-care bag ,no leak not really lost air flow or suction (new bag did help. )
Then i proceed to vacuum the floor whit cyclonic floor tool and wash whit green buffing pads whit my trusty Floor pro . I love it glad whit my results i do use neutral PH cleaner from home hardware works great .

I finally got my bumper I'll have c8 together tommorow. I'd say I'm surprised how clean the floor is but I'm not it's perfection and glad to see you enjoying your vacuum. I still love the blue. The bags only use envio care. I used generic and wow the generic are bad. In bag holder was dust and debri every where. I put new envirocare bag and vacuumed with Wessell werk power nozzle. The bags I switched out twice. Our lab sheds and just power sucks all up and cleans awesome.
I'll post pics of c8 hopefully tommorow.
Les

Les,

amazing color. How many coats, did you spray chrome and rubber parts to get that solid look?

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Enjoy your Compact. I have a burgundy colored one, do not know the model number. It has lived in the garage for years in a tub. I don't know why after I replaced the body badge, I just stored it.

Hey

It was 3 coats of green. I painted inside 3 coats to as there was black sute in it. I am going to take green off chrome handle and wheels. I just sprayed everything it was a 2 day break of snow storms and after it stormed for 3 weeks off and on everyday. I painted 3 coats in 2 days taping it I would not have been able to tape and paint that many coats and dry in time.
I think the red is cxl or dxl I'm not positive. That or silver we're last interstate/tristars to have same single speed motor. I have a yellow c9 and it runs fantastic. Antoine helped me find it. This c8 has new everything and will be my shop vac vacuum. The 2 vacuums are beasts. I use c9 with Wessell werk 360 power nozzle I believe it is a sebo power nozzle. It's 11.5 inches and it gets no hair stuck to brush roll and belt is on the side not in path of the brush roll. It's also 2.5 amps where compact is 1.5 and Bissell is 2 amps. The power of the vacuum and Wessell werk deep clean better than my Kirby sentria. It likes carpet strands like it's a royal but it takes 20-25 minutes to vacuum almost 2000 square feet and a set of stairs.
It is quite a work horse. I love how the bag can be full but no loss in power. I highly recommend it just in case you bring yours out. It is a great vacuum.

Hey

I noticed 2 hoses and I barely noticed there both electrical hoses. I have 2 new hoses both powered hmm. I don't know that's a pretty sweet setup. I have original gold power nozzle and blue eureka power nozzle. The interstate/eureka made one original I don't want to ruin so outside my blue eureka will go with green c8 and gold c9 will have Wessell werk. I have a 3rd hose that is pushed in a couple spots. I may take it out with c8 and have 2 brand new powered ones with c9 and I won't have to carry up steps as I vacuum as hoses will reach entire run of stairs.
I have 3 strips of carpet in shop/shed but I have to put up new plywood shelves and restack as particle board shelving snapped. I have a Craftsman long heavy duty tool box that was built to hold power tools it will hold my power vacuum and I can move crappy shop vac into garage.

It sure is nice having a long electric hose on a vacuum cleaner like this still use the original power head and have good air flow and suction .As long as you keep the bag clean ect.

Sure the long hose is nice but make it run a tad hot so just original hose .
