Nice little Kirby! I have seen this same vacuum mold rebadged under Iona, Oreck, Regina, and a couple of other weird one-off companies. You could literally have your own collection just of the clones!

He's right on collection. The early black vacuette sister vac by Douglas was super bee which I own. I have Iona dirt raider I'd say if it's clined it's on steroids.
The red vacuette sister vac was Douglas readivac which I have. There is a black and Decker one and oreck one. The oreck looks nicest sister vacs. The regina is close to clone but has speed switch dial. So I have a collection of these and other hand vacs.
The vacuette is great agitation and good suction.

The bulb isn't working and I am not sure how to access it. Do I just pry the lens off with a small screwdriver?

I am very impressed with it's power. I can always tell when a vac has good power because when I walk on the carpet afterwards, I hear the plastic pad cover meshing with the carpet again. This was the perfect solution to my lugging the Kirby G series on the stairs.

If it's like my kenmore clone it doesn't have a light, just the lens.

And you forgot the Craftsman Power Mate version (which had attachments also) and the Kenmore Klean N' Vac. That one had a suction shutoff so the brush could work in the Capture Cleaning powder, then vacuum it up.

It has a light but don't try to get it fixed. The bulb is like a small Christmas light. I took my first vacuette apart to get light working I basically ruined it. So just leave it be it's not worth the hassle.

Lea, thanks for the advice. I will leave it be. It’s too nice to destroy with my sometimes rammy techniques.

No problem. The vacuum is great vacuum. I learned and glad to help.you. The hand vac is really good vacuum. Enjoy.
I gave my father a royal 500 and a shark lift away. He asked for shark. I got ling hose for him.
I gave him royal and said vacuum your bed crumbs or even sofa. He says shark is best vacuum he has ever had. He has a bad back so heavy vacuums are not in question.
He loves royal saying it cleaned pet hair off furniture and crumbs off bed.
I think royal vacuums are good but Kirby the brush roll is superior. It's close but Kirby agitates better.
Enjoy Les
