Bissell is having a sale on refurbished PowerForces on eBay. $29.99 with free shipping. Obviously not the greatest vacuum ever but that is an incredible price. I've used a few and they've got a great brush roll and I think they only draw 7amps now.

If you want one, grab it! Oreck once sold their "Pilot" model on eBay on $99, and once word got out on Vacuumland they raised the price. Who knows????

I seen that the other day. And I do like the look of these newer Powerforces.

I was wondering though, why they have a grounded power cord on these?

They had these for sale last January and throughout the rest of 2018. I bought one for a family member off Walmart.com at the time and it's still going a year later. The price fluctuates between $29.99 and $34.99 at random with no rhyme or reason to it, they stopped selling them on Walmart.com last I looked.

Don't let it fool you, it is an amazing little vacuum for the money, and I kicked myself for not getting one back in January 2018.

If you put the Febreze bags in, it smells so nice.

I just found a photo from my files of when I got the one I gave away to a family member in November 2018. Here is a photo of me lifting the vacuum with just my index finger.

Did the ones you got have the grounded plug like in the picture?

Mine had a 2-prong plug. I am not sure why it shows a 3 prong on the box. Maybe it was an early development design to make it 3 prong and they later changed it. Maybe the refurbished models have 2 prong cords to differentiate them from the normal models.
