I just sold two more old Kirbys, a Model C with optional headlight and a Model 505. Since I had taken photos of them I thought I'd share them with you.

They're both in excellent condition; they just need a good cleaning and polishing. The Model 505 is nearly complete -- only missing the curved wand and blower connector.

I've always liked the headlight of the Model C. It's the only Kirby to ever have had that style -- when the 2C came out it had the angular style used (with variations) up through the Dual 80.

Hey

lesinutah's profile picture
I recently got a 3c off eBay and have 2 505s. My 3 c is not complete it's got huge hole in motor casing it's reason why it was so cheap. For my 505 i have all attachments with 1 exception the floor polisher. I have a 508 that I just don't have a bag.
The 505 has 2 black emtors. The one with the betrusion is on early 505s. I just have pics of 505 saved to the cloud.
The handle grips are super rare.
Les

Great historical pictures - thanks for sharing! Someone got some really nice machines. I like that instruction sheet - fresh off a typewriter!
