I haven’t seen a machine with rear filter casing like that previously. Wonder if metal versions were offered as spares at some point, after the original marbled green Bakelite ones were no longer available? The finish has an odd texture that doesn’t look original somehow... Not convinced the dryer attachment is a genuine Lux accessory, I bet generic dryer attachments were available for use with cylinder vacuums at the time. Electrolux user guides show people drying their hair just using the warm exhaust air from the machine, I haven’t yet seen a mention of an actual heating element accessory. I wouldn’t claim to be a Lux expert though, so correct me if I’m wrong! I’d be half tempted to buy it to take a closer look, but I’ve just acquired a Z25E this week. It’s a duplicate (in nicer condition) for another I already had, so I probably don’t need a third! |
