Picked up a blue Hoover convertible for 5 dollars.

It works but there are a few problems:
1) loud. Doesnt sound like a bearing but the motor definitely screams.

2) outer bag. The outer bag is a little torn at the bottom. Can I buy new ones somewhere? I think this is a U4021 model.

Thanks for info.

Yes this is definitely a U4021 model. The outer bag is more like a vinyl instead of cloth. Button snaps on the outer vinyl bag.
Other than probably needing oil and a cleaning, this vacuum works great. Just wondering if anyone has had one of these before?
