Thank you a00kirbyman and madman for your reply.I wish my vac was in the near or mint condition a007kirbyman that I see in the pics. Mine looks like it survived a war. And thank you madman for the time invested in doing the search on patents. I have to confess I'm more of a novest in all the avenues of collecting. However my passion for vintage Vacuum is genuine. It's history from simpler times. I had a Kirby repair business in Omaha Nebraska until my health changed everything. I wish I could find out where to look to find out if that Presto I have is worth anything in the condition it is in.
