So, I am looking for anyone that is willing to part with a hoover model u4395. Unfortunately, I received word that my vacuum was disposed of last month. I was heart broken as that vacuum was a hand me down. So I am wondering if anybody by any chance has this specific model as I loved it as a child.

Sorry I don't have that one but here is a brochure so everyone knows what to look for.

Thanks constellation86!, man do I miss mine! I miss it more than I miss any vacuum I remember seeing/using and more than I would miss any vacuum I currently have (even my Kirby)! That’s how special it was. But fingers crossed, and praying and hoping that I WILL eventually find one (hopefully soon!)

I have one! I am thinking of selling it. If this is who I think it is we chatted on YouTube. I have not considered a price as of yet. My machine is in amazing condition. The only thing I find wrong with it is that the round Hoover emblem is faded\ coming off. Other than that it's a beauty!

Other flaw is the outer bag has the dreaded handle screw hole. But mostly a very nice machine.

david, Yes this is who you think it is I go by john erikson on youtube. it is possible we did indeed chat. Let me know about price, and I will email you regarding shipping (where to send it) and payment. This might be the happiest easter for me considering that I found my childhood favorite vacuum!

That dreaded hole!!

I know! You CAN put clear contact paper on both the inside AND outside, then, open the holes. It will be invisible and will also be protected.
That's why Hoover change the nut on the back, I believe, to prevent this hole from happening.

Hey david,

haven't heard back from you in a while. I emailed you from a different email, and am patiently waiting your response. Let me know if you're still thinking of letting go of the vacuum.
