I had a very vivid dream last night. I was walking down the street in an older residential neighborhood. From around the corner ahead I heard the very familiar sound of an older Electrolux.

I went around the corner and the sound was coming from a screened open window. I walked up to the window and saw an older, plump woman with white fluffy hair using her Electrolux to clean the window sill. It was a later-version Model LX with the hose and narrow crevice tool from a model 1205.

I said to her, "I see you have a Model LX Electrolux!"

She said, "I sure do. And I wouldn't give it up for anything!"

I said, "I love old appliances. Could I take a photo of you so I can share it with my other collector friends?"

She said, "I guess that would be alright." So I came into her living room where she and her husband posed with the Electrolux.

They were both very kind and sweet, seeming happy that I wanted to take their picture.

And that's all I remember.......

I've had many vacuum cleaner dreams since childhood -- all of them vivid, sometimes with recognizable brands and models, other times with ones that were odd in some way, e.g., weird colors or size, strange attachments etc.

I also have recurring dreams where I'm going into thrift shops or neighborhoods and recognizing them [in my dreams only, not in real life] and thinking to myself, "Oh, I'm here again."
