I picked up a Kirby Heritage II curbside, and the only thing that the vacuum is missing is the upper screw for the on/off switch assembly. Does anyone know the tap / TPI for this screw? Is is just a standard thread or something unique to Kirby??

thank you

If I remember right, the screw under the trim piece for the switch assembly is a flat head sheet metal screw, size 6 or 8, about 1/2" long. The nut is a U-clip type that is clipped onto the switch assy.
