Anyone got the back end [black Bakelite rear end ]for one of these ?.I recently sold one that i had completely rebuilt .Two days later i get a message from the buyer saying the machine had arrived but was damaged .[the rear end where the back wheels are attached had been broken off supposedly in transit .I told the buyer to send the machine back and i would send a refund .The Hoover arrived today and sure enough the back end is broken allowing both back wheels to fall off fair enough i thought it was then that i noticed the unmistakable smell of DOG coming from the bag .I opened the bag to find lots of white dog hair and saw dust .Me thinks someone is pulling a fast one here .When the machine left me the bag was a new homemade replacement with the Hoover logo stitched onto the front of it .The buyer said they couldn't use the hoover because of the damage .they said they couldn't explain it .Anyway its back still working perfectly but with its back end smashed .So if anyone has a rear end casing they dont want please let me know

You got scammed. Name and shame the buyer on eBay reddit and here. They will just keep doing that to others.

Open a dispute within ebay. They protect buyers too, you know. You can request your refunded money back.
