As promised here are some pics of the Euro setup I changed over to about a year ago. Significant performance upgrade over stock Wal-Mart wands and elbow that ships with this unit.

I would LOVE to have a setup like that for my platinum! Where did you get the hose and nozzle from?

Wow just wow. That is a sexy vacuum I would love to be using that! I'm also curious to know where you got the hose and wands/nozzle.

Perhaps the setup came from Godfreys in Australia?

I’ve only seen the Sebo setup on the Sauber machines, never on anything sold in another country....

The Sebo ET-2 nozzle for the Lux Powerprof is where the elbow comes from and is common in Germany and other countries. It is sometimes seen on the Intelligence too. A friend is a Sebo dealer so he had a new leftover ET-1 and swapped out the elbow from the larger nozzle for my machine. There are some cool skin colors running around Ebay.de I like the red and white ones I have never seen on the Lux international website. It took me about 3 years to collect everything you see as well as an additional wand, crevice too and the automatic floor tool. An Ebay seller who ships internationally is really the only option for this stuff unless you travel and could ship it home while on vacation or have friends in Europe.

That’s very interesting!

I never thought you could attach a 240-volt power nozzle set-up to a 120-volt canister vacuum. Is this electrically safe to do?

Voltage

The Sebo nozzle is 110 volts not 240 only the elbow is different.
