So it's a constellation, TriStar, airway mix? Things like $600 on Amazon.
I see 5ply HEPA bag available now, no sign of HEPA filtration or spare parts. The power nozzle/brushroll seems interesting. Looks like you can pull it apart without a tool. No height adjust and "floating" in the carpet. What is the height clearance of this nozzle? I like the central vac style handle, connection and electric hose. Is the hose at least 7feet? No place to wind or retract the cord. CLICK HERE TO GO TO Holeefuk's LINK |

I'll have a video on it next week. I personally met with one of the principal owners of a company Ed at the VDTA . He loaned me one for long term testing.
So far I've been impressed and oddly enough my wife even noticed how cool this thing was. I believe it might even give the Miele C2 a run for its money at this price point. This video goes live next Wednesday 2/27/2019 If you can't wait there's a version up on the patreon on the page.

Did they make their own power nozzle or did they use one of the third party ones? It really sounds like a nice machine as does the new Cirrus canister. Mike |

Never liked floating vacs without wheels. On bare floors they blast the surface dust around before you get a chance to suck it up. And the only way to get it to stop moving and stop hitting your feet is to forcefully pull up the canister onto a stretch of cord. Also, when the motor is off, you scratch the bare floor if you have to pull it to a new room or positioning. Not a big fan....pardon the pun.

Does anyone know if the hose size and electric plug on the hose are standard? Could you use other attachments and power nozzles with it? Mike |

"I believe it might even give the Miele C2 a run for its money at this price point."
Are you serious?! I think the Miele C2 Electro + for $599 would kill the ZeroG company's sales. Let's see the pros & cons here.... + Hovers on air, no wheels. + HEPA Cloth bags with a tab to seal before removal. + High quality powerhead with good edge cleaning capabilities, which can be a pet peeve for some consumers. + High quality universal 32mm attachments, with the option to buy other universal attachments later without using an adapter. + Mini powerhead, not turbobrush, for cleaning stairs, upholstery & removing pet hair. - MADE IN CHINA with Chinese motor & parts, vs MADE IN GERMANY with German motor & parts. This will be a HUGE factor for some consumers, especially at the price ZeroG wants for this vacuum. - No HEPA Filter in a Sealed System. HUGE FLAW!!! What were they thinking not putting a HEPA Filter in a high end vacuum?!?! Any allergy sufferer or anyone worried about indoor air quality will immediately dismiss this vacuum for that reason alone. - No variable speed control, & no bleeder valve on the hose to reduce airflow for certain cleaning tasks. NOT a good idea to ask hundreds for a high end canister vacuum & not have that feature! - No cord rewinder, & no way to wrap the cord around the canister or on cord hooks. Instead, they just show how to bundle the cord up & use a cord strap to tie it up & tuck under the handle. Again, REALLY SMART IDEA going ahead & making a high end canister, ask hundreds of dollars for it & no nice way to store the cord!!! - No onboard tool storage, except possibly to use a tool caddy. Really?!?! Even the Miele C1 & C2 canisters have a tool caddy mounted on the hose so it doesn't get in the way when vacuuming & using the wand. Really dumb idea to not think of that on a high end canister vacuum! - Inferior quality, expensive bags. The ZeroG bags are 5 layer HEPA Cloth, vs the Miele AirClean bags being 9 layer HEPA Cloth that don't allow the vacuum to lose suction till 3/4 full. Plus the bag cost is nearly the same for both machines. - No direct connect hose at the machine end to canister. Yes, with Miele C2 you have to plug in a powerhead cord like the ZeroG makes you do, but it's unacceptable on BOTH machines considering there's other Chinese canister vacuums, like the Cirrus & Vapamore Vento canisters, that cost 1/2 of these machines & has this feature & even MORE as standard. I think if ZeroG wants to have ANY chance succeeding in the marketplace, they had better get ZeroG 2.0 on the drawing board ASAP! Right now, as it stands, this is another vacuum with a innovative idea but poorly executed. They should have done their market research & product planning a bit better than this considering their closest competitor is a German brand who has driven many competitors out of the marketplace & sent them packing back home. The biggest thing it would be lacking for me is the cord winder, the other things that Rob mentioned would not bother me though they may be important to others. I actually think the Miele C1 and C2 models are made in China now but not sure on that, I know some of them are. Mike |

There are only 2 Miele C1 & C2 models made in China. The C1 Compact canisters were previously the Miele S4 series, & the Miele C2 Hard Floor was previously the Miele S5 series. These are now considered entry level models in Miele's lineup, but still retain the same quality since they use German components & only the body is formed & the machine is assembled in China, & even then that's because the German factory has only so much capacity & they are making the current C1, C2 & C3 models.
As for your observations about the flaws I pointed out in the ZeroG, I agree with you, to some collectors like yourself those flaws may not be so important. However, it's the opinion of the normal, everyday consumer that matters, & unfortunately those flaws will definitely not find favor with most people wanting to buy a new vacuum. Rob |

Great video review. I'm not fond of the motor sound either, one of those high pitch screamers, and it's very noticeable, and no cord winder. Mike |

@Blackheart My understanding is that the patents are owned by Zero-G for nozzle.
They did make that central vacuum nozzle or let someone else make it. Something of that sort . @n0oxy The sound is my A6000 stock microphones. They suck it's a know issue with the Sony A6000 it really dose sound different in real life. I will try to use action camera for the next video it has better microphones. Also I wouldn't buy this . Its TTI crap from the wost parts of China Town. Just like the oreck quest. CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacuumdevil's LINK |

the edgelift nozzle has been around for probably around 14 years maybe even more than that. I first saw it on an infomercial years back paired with the Airider Mach 2. Unfortunately i've never been able to find much information on that vacuum. There's a wix site for it but it's not very functional...

Also figure the ZeroG would appeal to former Constellation fans. You just have to clean the area where the hover vacuum is going to be placed first. That way no dirt blown around. |

Got the zero g a couple weeks ago. I definitely suggest using the Hepa bags, it's a great machine and it uses a central vacuum handle so you can use other attachments or power nozzles with it. The included power nozzle is awesome though. Mike |

I love my zero g vacuum. I'm guessing the rechargeable power nozzle that airider includes is the one made by Perfect Products. Has anyone tried that vacuum? Wonder if it's as good as the zero g. For the price the Zero G is a very good powerful canister cleaner. Mike |

@countryguy that's very strange they want that much for that. I saw it for sale without the power head for $200 and some change on Amazon.
I'm really skeptical of that vacuum especially since they don't show up to any trade shows or do business with any vendors right now that I'm aware of. I do often see the zero-g on sale. So if you're interested in a flooding vacuum that might be something to watch. Thanks for sharing |
