Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the clutch pads in the Hoover Concept Transmissions? Mine keep squealing and I would like to sell the unit without this issue. I am aware that they possibly contain asbestos.

I'm pretty sure if you found an old Hoover WindTunnel u64xx transmission you could swap the parts.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I might just buy a windtunnel from Goodwill for $5 and take the pads from its transmission.
