Would a Hoover Convertible brushcore fit on the end of a Dial A Matic Pulley? If this is the case, I will order the pulley and fit a used brushroll.

Keep in mind that this is for a self propelled machine.

No, they wont fit. I'll look in the attic, I think I threw a few up there.

Here's my situation.

I work at a vac shop and have had a few people call about a Hoover Concept or Dial-A-Matic Brushroll (Yes, I know the endcaps are different). We have some 160538 pulleys which were for the Powerdrive Dial-A-Matics only. I want to put the pulley on the end of the Convertible brushroll and then just use the Concept's rod with endcaps and bearings. I only ask because I saw this picture (Credits to GJ3476).

I know I tried it, but perhaps I'm confusing it on a non self propelled machine. I've spent the last few nights out plowing snow, and the days at work, so my mind is a jumble. I'll give it a try a d tell you.

Yo

Could you post the difference in length between the Powerdrive and regular DAM brushrolls.
