Those are so cool! Eureka built the machine specially so they could add that pole and saw. Saw one up close and personal when I had to have a cast removed off of my left arm... I want one, just not $140 bad...

I think it was originally just a canister vacuum.

Remember that cast cutter well-but not the vacuum.My brother broke his arm-I went with him to the hospital the day his cast was to be removed.the doctor came up to my brother with that cast cutter saw-I was so scared for him!!!!So the doc showed the cutter wasn't dangerous-he held the blasde against my bare arm while it was running-the blade vibrates-The tools sold in tool places today for-the "sonic" vibration sanders-saws-work just like the cast cutter.However the cutter can cut bone and was used to cut bones or skulls open during autopsies.The vacuum on the machine is a good idea!!
