First off, hope you've all had a great year!

Anyways I was browsing through online and Proteam just released a new upright. It's called the FreeFlex. This one is actually interesting because it can be used as either corded or cordless, something that I haven't seen before on a vacuum. It looks neat overall but gee it's pricey. I would like to try one out when it's available and see what I think.

I didn't know Emerson and proteam are one in the same. I have heard about proteam backpack commercial vacuum are arguably the best you can buy.
There upright looks good but isn't in line with commercial backpack. It is a good design but holy cow on price. There personal line isn't stable enough to ask for that price.
It would be cool to compare to riccar/simplicity cordless which are best reviewed I've seen.

For its price the cordless Proteam doesn't offer a good value. The Simplicity,Riccar,'Lux cordless vacuums offers BETTER value for the money. And for the price of the cordless Proteam you could buy several Proteam backpacks or a couple NSS M1 vacuums.I have the Simplicity and 'Lux cordless machine-EXCELLENT!!!!

Its about time we're getting cordless Uprights. Say what you want about how useful a stick is, it's still not w replacement for a full sized vac

Cordless uprights

Well cordless uprights still aren't ready to replace a full sized vacuum.

Looking it over it appears to be a direct air machine. Hmm I think the hybrid system is neat but ultimately it is just way too expensive. Tacony sells it's cordless through Cleanmax and i'm sure another brand for commercial environments which doesn't cost $1,500

This...

Is what I've been waiting for in terms of cordless machines... I wanted something either with easily swappable and affordable batteries, or the ability to run with corded power should the battery die... I do wonder if this has any relation to the Tacony cordless ULWs as Tacony has private labelled machines for many companies in the past, and the fan chamber on this machine as well as the handle release look similar to that of an S10S/R10S...
