Hello VacuumLand !

I was wounding if any one has a
Royal RY6900 or Royal RY5500 ?
I would like to here from you and would love to see some photos

I think that vacuum is actually made by Sebo but rebranded with the Royal name.

The RY5500 was a SEBO I have seen one many years ago. I figured someone had to have one ?
But I can't fins anything on the RY6900.

Sorry to revive such an old topic but one of these has recently come up for sale so I'll be sharing photos from the ad as well as a link to the ad, it's over in WI. It's an odd machine.
With no visible model tag I only found out what it was due to the Type N bags in the photos.

I've seen that photo of the orange one but never the red one. Neat looking vac for a Royal. Even if it is Sebo manufactured.

The RY5500 was not a Sebo/Windsor product, but a very close copy of the popular Windsor Versamatic (made by Sebo and a fixture in US commercial cleaning for 30+ years).

It is identical to the old Minuteman MPV upright but in orange instead of burgundy. I don't know who made it for Minuteman/Royal...but it wasn't Sebo.

We sold one or two RY5500s years ago and I remember they were troublesome. Nothing like the nearly bulletproof Sebo/Windsor on which they were based.
