Never owned a Sanitare before, but have always wanted one. I picked this machine up this afternoon. It is model SC684. The bag is off and being cleaned at the moment. What can you tell me about this particular machine? I’m by no means an expert...I do have similar Eurekas, but my first Sanitare.

I have a sanitairre. It's eurekas commercial vacuum line. It does have consumer line too. The sanitairre are really nice. I have a similar model mine is sc6887 I'm guessing. It's the blue line which is best vacuum available at the time.
I have a vibrance groomer 2 on mine. I put a new fan and led light. It had a blue sanitairre bag I bought the red arm and hammer red bag giving vacuum s&t bags instead of f&g. I have tested a bunch of vacuums. My airflow tests were sentria 133 sanitairre got 141 142. The only vacuum higher is an old eureka imperial 7 or 7.5 amp motor. It was 1 or 2 mph faster. It is a tank. It is a great solid vacuum. I think the ones built in Mexico are last great built sanitairres Im told. Here is a couple pics of mine. |

I did built a box. I tested a few vacuums. I left it in a shed. I went to the shed at night and smashed it up. I have a square 2x4 pressure treated wood screwed together. I just have to make a new box. I may put a PVC pipe the size of my anamometer for it.
I couldn't believe it either. I just wish there belts didn't break every two weeks. It also tried to inhale the rugs. It's a breast. Les |
