I don't know I like to use any of my vacuums. The Dyson DC07 standard was my mum's old vacuum but she now has a Dyson DC41 MK2 so she let me have her good old Dyson DC07. By the way Merry Christmas :)

I'm thinking that you're fast becoming the "Go to" guy in your neighborhood for vacuum repairs, yes? If I'm right, what is the oldest machine you've worked on? Cheers, Billy

Thank you so much. I got my DC07 Animal as a Christmas gift from Mr. Dyson many, many years ago. FYI, my store was the very first Dyson sales/service center in the USA. We had an account before they were even here in Chicago. I have a DC07 Prototype, the first 120 volt machine made for the USA.

I used to have the purple and red Casdon Dyson DC14 toy when I was younger. I was a bit bummed that there was no suction at the cleaner head, but I did love the working suction on the hose! I also had a toy Dirt Devil Classic Upright and another toy Dirt Devil that had the base of a swivel glide, but the main body was designed to have hold a detachable hand vac that was a miniature version of the old Dirt Devil Dust Devil rechargeable hand vac from the mid 90s. I've also seen a toy Dirt Devil Vison, a toy Dirt Devil Reaction D2, and a toy Dirt Devil Hand Vac 103. The toy Dirt Devil Hand Vac 103 was actually pretty similar to the original in that it was direct air!

Ryan!

Hope you had a great Christmas and that the 'New Year' is full of happiness! Can you help me? I still have time to pick up a toy vacuum cleaner for my 4 yr. old niece. They are driving down next week. If you were shopping which would you buy from the current offerings? I'd like it to have suction at the nozzle if possible. Big house, 4 yr. old girl who has played with Mums many times. Hope all is well with you,Ryan, cheers! P.S. I've got about 50.00 to work with for this to spend, cheers.

I'd skip a toy vac and go for something like a Bissell FeatherWeight.
