These are excellent machines! The old paper bags didn't filter well, but the new Hepa bags are great! Greg |

This is an industrial vacuum, so yes the cord will be very long and cumbersome, that is normal. It must be able to clean entire offices and floors without the custodian wasting time hunting for an outlet. The cord must also be durable and chunky to withstand scraping across walls and floors and possibly even concrete or stone surfaces. I looked up the only photo I could find of one in Google, it looks pretty sturdy!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the 4150 has only a 25-foot-long cord as opposed to most commercial vacuums having cord lengths at a minimum of 35 feet.
