I found out the powerhead for my 413 Royal canister uses the same plugs and sorta fits the metal pipes my C9 has when I was getting it running and it needed a new belt and maybe motor in the head. It worked well enough if I could keep them plugged together but I got a belt and that was all it needed after the main motor was replaced. I spose it works but hard to say if it is useful for anything but it is fun to try oddball parts you have around to see what you can cobble together and make work or possibly make a Frankenstein improvement.

On your compact how many amps is your vacuum. Is the added hoses' power nozzles?
I have been looking at tristar vacuums since there alot more available.

Really

Grasp this concept. A vacuum uses an electric motor to bring in air. Air goes in it comes out. The electric motor pushes it along.
A car uses gas on most cars instead of electricity. The motor sucks in air sends out air. The colder the air the more air is allowed in.
Hello hot air rises. They use intercoolers and turbos to pump in cold air. A leaf blower is a vacuum uses the outgoing air as a byproduct. I'm a hell of a lot smarter than you think and probably you.
I don't give a dang how air is brought in cold air is smaller area than hot air.
The filters on vacuums restrict airflow. A k&n or similar filters don't rrstrict as much airflow they actually improve it. If you put a material from a filter I just mention it will not restrict air flow. You put a paper in flow of air it restrict the airflow.
So a cannisters vacuum is a cyliner with a motor in it. The motor has extra housing muffling sound and encasing the motor. Air goes through and one side comes out the other.
A car has air come in through intake. It does use air for vacuum lines. The air comes in through the air box into the intake and it leaves through lower half of motor usually headers or exhaust manifold and more piping then cats and muffler etc.
Mufflers are filters in a sense and the better the muffler the better the airflow . Intakes are filters to send cold clean air to motor a better filter gives less resistance and better air flow.
I'm not saying it's hepa type filter but a paper filament or paper filter is far inferior to material used in k&n filters.
So hello I understand a vacuum and a filter. Just because it says car filter doesn't mean it's not useful for other things. You can think I'm a fool but improved airflow with better filters is the same you just fail to see it. So don't insult my intelligence just because you think it's a bad idea. In fact you don't understand the idea at all.
So you act like I don't know what I'm talking about but maybe you shouldn't. I know exactly what I'm talking about I could bring up many other examples of filters. I may be a little different with my thinking but my knowledge is not lacking. So maybe lay off the alcohol learn to spell check(I can't orchestrate paragraphs well) but I am very smart and get things.
So since you live in Canada you probably don't celebrate Thanksgiving since it's a US holiday but let's just agree to disagree and move on does that sound good to you?
