A few Years ago these are being distributed by Pro-Line at the time the main distributor for Riccar vacuums. The shop I worked at took these on for about a year and ended up sending him back because nobody was interested in buying them. Believe me we tryed good and hard to sell these German machines.
Its water injection filtration system was a really good cool idea.

I'm wondering if any of these made it into the hands of collectors?
Also does anybody remember it?
if you have pictures or videos of yours I'd like to see them.

They do seem like good machines, even though I've never used one before. But filling up the tank with water and emptying it every time you would use it, uh no thanks. The power head you can easily tell is a Wessel Werk, not my preferred power head to use but still really powerful. The gas grip handle on the electric hose is also used on the Lindhaus Aria which I really like.

But overall if I want a total cleaning system in my own home, I would install in an Aqua-Air central vacuum. Automatically fills and empties the water tank every time that I would use it, has a screen that catches any think debris that would prevent from clogging up the drain pipe, and I could use a water port outlet without even having to fill up a water tank for carpet cleaning.

can vacuum land stay subject?

@panasonicvac @Kirbysthebest
The question was if anybody remembered it or anybody had one in their collection.
Maintenance is a little simpler than a thermax or rainbow vacuum .

I agree that Central vacs are the best option. But as usual that's off subject.

I like the stickers!

I forget how much I used to like stickers as a kid. I would stick them on just about anything ... kinda like I was "leaving my mark"

I should buy more stickers and stick them on things, like my vacuums ~

Oh ... "no" and "no" ... thanks for sharing!

@Kirbysthebest

Let me get this straight.
I mentioned that people tend to get off topic on vacuum land ,this thread is proof and case. Never said anything about you couldn't reply.
Never said I had a personal problem with you in any way.
You take it upon yourself to insult me in multiple posts.

Now somehow I'm a "bully ".
When I was in high school bully would literally stab you just because they didn't like your hair color.

But somebody points out that the whole vacuumland goes on tangents. Now you're the victim.

What alternate reality do you live in?!

I have a Rotho.

dysonman1's profile picture
Ultimately, it doesn't work very well. Most of the dirt ends up 'moist' and stuck to the filter(s). It's a pain to wash pet hair from the bucket, and the machine is so big, it's like dragging a coffee table around. It uses on a little bit of water. But it's a very interesting machine to show people at Convention time. Like the Pigg, Big Power, Oasis, etc. they don't really work very well.

Do you have a big power as well? That was quite the machine.

rotho and big power

It sounds like the ROTHO is not a separator machine and thus would not be very good. The newest big power machine does use a separator I think, I got to see one at the last convention at the museum where we got all of the water vacs together. While I think all of the separator vacs are good, I still say that for the price, you can't beat the Quantum.
There are two companies that I know of that make water filtration central vacuums. Aqua air is one of them, the other is Drainvac. There are also interceptors that you can get that will attach to any central vacuum and allow you to vacuum liquids, the liquid and anything else vacuumed up goes in to the interceptor rather than the central vacuum itself. I've played with these and have found that the short hose does not fit the central vacuum valves very well. For wet pick up, I think I would just grab one of my wet dry vacs, I have used my water filtration machines to scrub my floors as well.

Yesterday I just saw one of these on ebay that was brand new and it got sold for like $100 plus shipping. Never had much interest in getting one for me personally.

We used to have a wet interceptor before, it fitted just well on the valves.

I found the European version of the machine looks like it's had a few updates.
Anyone in Europe seen this?

I have not

so I don't know if anybody's going to even see this LOL, because it's a couple months old ish. But there's actually one for sale in my area. I have not owned one, but I have been curious about them. I really wanted to share, but now I'm kind of wary about what I should say. the one that I was going to buy I never got to see in person, but it's been for sale literally for 3 years now. It's also listed on eBay for sale, but it does not have the power nozzle. I know abcrokid (sorry if you don't want to be mentioned 🤷, I can take that down) had one years ago. I believe he said the suction and airflow was pretty decent? Which was the reason why I was going to buy one. But it seemed as though there were so many Pieces to this question mark possible filters in bags that you could also use in it?

Now for the other part. looking back because I do have quantum vacuum experience, I don't believe I was very impressed with it. As a matter of fact I know I wasn't impressed with it. But I'm constantly learning new things about vacuums, and I do think that I would be willing to give it another try. However I know that there are several other five to $600 machines that I would probably purchase first. I really like the mini power brush that came with it. But as for some people talking about the quality, I would have to politely disagree. I think we can all politely do that and share our own opinion, politely LOL. But there was just something about the lackluster screen that looked like an Atari. also the water basin had a peg in the middle where sediment and dirt would constantly get underneath. I believe I only use the machine four to five times before I sent it back. And many talk about it being a wessel werk power nozzle, which it does closely resemble one. Though I didn't really check to see who made it. I just find it hard to believe that a water filtration vacuum that supposed to be budget-friendly would have a high on power nozzle on it. Also it didn't have the ability to turn off and on with a switch.

I have a Rotho Twin vacuum. It’s about 10 years old. I started off using it with the water filtration accessories. They even have a bare floor hose and nozzle and a special cleaner. Used it to clean my wood floors. It worked well, but was very cumbersome and heavy to lug around. Also a mess to clean. BUT, it did do a nice job. Then we moved to a different home. Most of the parts are still in the basement somewhere. :) Then they came out with this ‘hygienic box’ and bags to work inside of it so that you could use the vacuum without the water. Hooray. I’ve never looked back. I now always clean this way. The machine is still a pain to lug around but at least I don’t need to deal with the wet mess. And yes, I paid full price for it, which was upwards of a thousand. Gulp. So the lugging around is my penance for being foolish enough to spend that on this machine. Ha.
