Well i found a pretty neat little vacuum a few days ago online. It's not here in the USA yet but it's been in Europe and Japan for a little while now. I just think it's kinda cute and would go well with the "baby ball" or my $2.50 DC11 telescope i bought Saturday (5.24.08). Here's a link

I love the DC22!

So cute, I hope to get one at some point, when I have some extra money available. I want to get the one with the mini turbine head.

I already have the DC24 - the miniature Ball upright - to go with it!

Here it is folded down for storage:

Actually...

It is here in the US.

Target carries it.

Here it's the DC24, not the 22.

Oh... Duh!

You're talking about a canister.

I saw the pictures above of the DC24, and thought thats what was being talked about.

Sorry!

The purple one...

is the DC22 Animal - it comes with a turbine head and a mini turbine head, but not the Flat Out tool. If I was to get a DC22, the Animal's the one I'd want! They have some bargains on eBay too, but I'm saving my money at the moment.

I got a new Dyson today, as it happens - a [very generous!] friend gave it to me. It wasn't sucking and kept cutting out - because none of it's 3 previous owners had thought to wash the filters! They were saturated with dust. I've washed them and it now works like new. Very nice condition, barely a scrape on it, and it could have ended up on the tip! Which I'm sure would be a comforting thought to many...

It's purple and red...

...with glitter! What's not to like?! :D

That's a startling colour combo. I like it. Yellow is soooo last year. LOL All the Dyson models at Sears Canada are yellow. :-(

Question: is the British DC22 Animal the improvement over the USA DC 07?

But if I ever come across this turquoise DC 07 version I'll snap it up. :-)

Dave

Oh wait. The DC 22 is the folding up Transformer Dyson. It has been available in Canada since just before Christmas. Fun to unfold & play with in the store - Best Buy/Future Shop, etc.

I guess I meant the red/purple one above is the DC 07 everywhere.
???

Hi Dave -

Yeah, the DC22 is the Dyson Baby, the tiny cylinder vac. The DC24 is the miniature ball upright, like the one I posted towards the top of the thread, and the one I got yesterday is the DCO7 Allergy+ Low Reach, to use it's full title! So in total, I now have:

DC07 Allergy+ Low Reach
DC08T Allergy+ CarpetPro
DC14 All Floors
DC24 All Floors

Hmm...

Hey Jack I thought the silver baby in the UK was the animal.
It might be purple when it comes here.

Ah, my apologies!

I was getting mixed up with other Dyson Animal models! The Baby Allergy is silver and yellow, and the Baby Animal is silver and...silver, lol:
