Hello,

i am refurbish commercial felix for home use. Does anyone have copy for Felix Premium repair shop or training manual? i am already rebuild ET1 powerhead like brand new premium. there is no good picture of premium motor housing online

i have question for premium user trying understand how #38 interact with blue switch in speedcontrol board when hose in/remove and where it screw. does anyone have picture of a working felix premium this section (#1 with #26 remove)?

if not possible reuse housing, i could bypass speedcontrol board use S0:W1 jumper like in commercial windsor/karcher because powerhead disable without #38 activate switch. cheaper than find new used housing and function not important for me

thank you

The hose touches the liver that then moves the switch into the on position when hose is installed. SEBO has phone that you can call for help .
SEBO’s customer service phone number is 800-334-6614
You can also bring it to a dealer .

I am suspect commercial kärcher housing different than premium sebo but seek verify. Am comfortable modify speed control circuit to achieve objective - less switch parts more reliable. My city have one sewing repair store and not sure they sell sebo.

Thanks for reply

@Holeefuk give them a call on Monday. Hopefully they can help you out.
I believe both of those to be the same but it's been a few years since I've seen the Windsor version up close.
Also sounds like you live in a town not a city.

i call sebo america llc and they say housings not identical between commercial/old and new felix premium

if cannot afford sebo felix premium, then clone commercial model basic model does not include premium feature at first and good at small budget. less half price retail possible 200's new on sale. still make in the Fatherland and match my power washer

*39feet 3 pin outlet, heavy duty cord, star grounded
*no triac circuit, potencio switch, 2 instead 3 wire harness
*no hose switch
*no adjustable height handle
*no no swivel neck powerhead
*no powerhead independent shutdown
*none included attachment or tool or mount

i struggle find pictures or videos of ET-1 with hood up. Et-1 housing and computer board identical. commercial grade just bypassed barefloor switch, fix neck, and 3 pin connector

GELENK = upright switch, Motor = Motor, Haupt = powerhead barefloor switch

sever W2 bypass switch jumper

Preserve 3 pin commercial powerhead connection

CV300 has the Ametek Italia 1000w motor. anyone has specification or graph function water lift x orifice x cfm? i cannot find model# or datasheet on ametek

can i fit a K series or D4 1200w motor in felix body

motor speed board comprise common open loop SCR dimmer soft start circuit, main component ST microelectronic Thyristor SCR limit 600v and 25amp...excess double capacity suction motor current and triple main voltage. easy handle +1200w sucker motor
anything burn < $3 fix

www.mouser.com/datasheet/...

handle slide actually contain 2 switch surprise. one control thyristor gate and other shutoff mains top throw because must unlatch SCR thyristor after start (rapid shutdown).

in order make board function in commercial housing i needed remove Marquardt microswitch off control board. modify powerhead section close jumper W1 full time. no more problem.

because i possess both setup, i am discover that variable power felix may have little less power than commercial version with 3x component capacity excess. i am not understand why variable board design with power limiter installed. board came ship new from SEBO america llc at ~90% power limited (~103VAC vs 115VAC max output).

methodology of variable board:

All AC circuitry
AC voltage phase controller = thyristor bridge type and combine with diac

Basically work like pwm switch supply very efficient and cheap for simple motor speed. rectify full wave maximum...only rectify half wave at half power...phase shift 50% negative onto positive wave 25% power

Must take care that get full 60hz sinewave form at maximum switch slider. If not, limiter must remove or raise in order make complete 115VAC/60hz waveform and power. don't have oscilloscope however can see use most DMM meter 114V output of 115V input mean close full power now.

In commercial felix, Pin A2 (far right connector) on control board not use and no brown wire from handle. forced make new internal wiring from 14awg or give Sebo more money. use Delphi/Aptiv automotive 6.3mm terminal almost identical Sebo terminal fit in plastic.

I am verify commercial felix use identical handle molding. i could not understand where slider switch black pigtail went (20M resistor), but then i am realize that the handle contain special mount and hole for end wire.

useful upgrades are neck swivel and powerhead barefloor switch add. commercial felix no good bare wood floor without parquethead attached. don't attempt variable board unless you crazy

About Basic to Premium Sebo Felix Upgrades

holeefuk's profile picture
i am unable rename this thread more appropriate title
i see interest this topic in the archive go back to the future for people wish to upgrade/refurbish basic model.

Felix various model and clone has or not have option (your preference):

1) Adjust height handle must replace most of chassis and handle...not worth. You must require feature then better pay to play premium model
2) Fix to Swivel Neck : exchange 1 part only PN#2307 medium difficulty install
3) Barefloor powerhead switch : add 2 parts PN#2959ER, PN#2957 easy difficulty install
switch assembly and push button. plug into board, swap clear button, cut jumper
4) Variable sucktion : exchange 3 parts *PN#7071*, PN#7038, PN#7111ER, hard difficulty install
Slider switch, speed control board, through handle wires, everything sebo come quick disconnect, plug and play except modify micro switch always on (glue? wire? jumper?)
You save $ reuse basic harness add one extra 3 feet 14AWG wire and 6.3mm automotive connector optional buy PN#7071
Control board use standard 0.2" (type 187) spade connector also.

Add tool basic model, obvious. I win all new felix toolset ebay $20 easy
