I haven't been very active on here lately, but I would like to share share some picture of the recent additions to my small collection. One from a friend, 1 from eBay, and another from a local vac shop.
Eureka Model 1778 10 amp from eBay. The original hose was shot, but I found a new one eBay. Unfortunately the tool holder was damaged in shipping because the seller thought wadded up newspaper was adequate packing material. I'm actually starting to like the Eureka better than my Lux canisters. |

Found this a vac shop just down the road from me. Only $45.00, runs great. I did a little comparison test with the Eureka and the Hoover with shredded paper, and both picked up quite well.

Steve Ralin gave me this lovely Eureka canister in September when took a little vacation to NY/NJ. I just ordered some bags for her from SVCVacuum.com tonight.
I found the crevice tool interesting, it looks like it is made out of cardboard. |
