I've never really been paranoid about recalls, companies only issue those to cover their end in case the machine does break. But just because incidents have been reported, doesn't mean it will happen to you. Like a plane crash, the chances are very slim.
My cordless drill I bought at the thrift store in 2012 is known to catch fire and was reported as such in 2001. I've used it monthly for the past 6 years and it never has. I also have the early Hoover Windtunnel that allegedly has had the handle catch fire, never has. | ||
