Ok... first off, I was wrong in my past post saying my collection is complete...

I came across a Heritage II that has the 13” nozzle. It was $25 and I just couldn’t say no. It came with the shampooer and other basic attachments - everything quite dirty, but a polish for the vacuum and cleaning everything else made it presentable.

I have a question for those who’ve used one of these machines with the small nozzle... Have you noticed that they seem to be more powerful using the smaller nozzle? Ive swapped out nozzles and have noticed I get a bit more suction when using the 13” nozzle. Maybe I’m kidding myself, but I really do feel a difference. I’m interested in what others have to say...

Chris,

Yes, I have read such stories here about the 13" nozzle being better at distribution of suction than the 16" nozzle.

Thank you! So I’m not crazy! It came down to an area in my home (older house - has some original wood flooring that was bolted in place and that’s where the litter box is - large gaps between pieces and not always easy to vacuum the litter that falls in those cracks- using this gets everything in one pass). I wasn’t looking for this machine, it found me instead. I’m glad I picked it up! I’ve really enjoyed using it so far (only on night one).

Chris,

That is awesome you got it! By the way the motor shell looks, I think your Heritage II is a late 1984 or 1985.

There was also an optional LARGER Heritage nozzle, a Classic-style nozzle.

AND there was also a smaller nozzle for the Legend II.

If you said that's the best 25.00 I've spent in a wh

I wouldn't doubt it for a second. What a handsome machine, if I may say so. I've put smaller floor nozzles on my "classic" and it just isn't the same. Works great but... I think the black and chrome and the more contemporary headlight hood and the bigger wheels really set that model off. Happy for you, now I want one! Billy Clyde
