Hey
I've posted I'll be doing airflow and voltage tests soon. I have my 3 prong emtor f&g bag done. My 2 prong f&g needs spring and it's ready. I already have 2 prong emtor hepa conversion and 3 prong hepa conversion.
My 3 metal mini emtors 1 tradition 1 classic and I haven't checked stamping but another metal mini emtor almost finished. I just have to get 3 PVC pipe coupler/adaptors. Once that is done I just need to connect tubing. Everything is glued or. Adhered to emtor. They are air tight seals too.
I'm not making mini emtor f&g I may try 3 prong but don't think it will fit.
I have shakeout for 2 prong 509, e prong 562 d80 classic and tradition.
Prior test shakeout empty bag performed best. Hepa was real close behind.
I used 562 and tradition.
The f @g bogged down 22-35%. Half full shakeout significant loss but still higher than f@g empty.
I'll try to get tests done soon. I have f@g royal and type b royal to test.
The bags are almost complete.
My d80 needs power switch I just found. Classic needs 2 washers and fan put on.
I'm going to try to put in Excel spreadsheet.
I'm also using voltage meter seeing if motor is affeced.

Hey
Today I got my tradition hepa bag finished, classic hepa bag and another metal mini emtor no bottom tray done. I finished 505 2 prong f&g bag.
The bags are ready. My tradition is ready. My classic i got screws off. It needs bearing plate fan front motor housing and it's done.
My d80 yes my green machine is on brink of life. I attached foot switch. I m making a compromise on it. For originality I'm keeping safety switch. I found like speaker connectors but electrical connectors. Low speed I'm looking to foot switch high speed I'm looking to safety switch with connectors so they stay in place. The light socket has small plastic piece busted off. I may take it off solder new one on. I got a green led light for it. I have brand new magic finger belt lifter never used I took out of Kirby package.
Can you tell I'm a little excited about d80.
So tommorow all vacuums should be ready. The hepa f@g and shakeout are all done. I only have royal 817 I believe 7.5 amp motor. It has type b setup but my 880 bag is f and g bag I can use and get both results from it.
My sanitare has s&t setup I cannibalized f@g bag to make 500 series Kirby f@g. I have my riccar rsl4 and my 8634.
Royal 8amp backpack commercial vacuum. I have sentria I have a diamond ultimate with older g series tube I can test. I also have g4 not mine but I can test it. I even have shark rocket pro and rocket pro duo clean. I have a few hand vacuums too.
I just have to fix airflow box. I will have probably PVC tube to get airflow from fan on Kirby and royal.
I'm wondering how d80 on high speed classic on high speed compares to tradition. I'm also excited to have vacuums running with hepa bags all working at peak to see numbers.
But even before test I'm going to vacuum whole house twice with d80.
Quick question I have wide wheels on d80 on airflow test would wide wheels matter since regular wheels might get lower.
Second question on d80 and tradition would 4 roll brush rolls produce better results than 2 row or not.
Ill probably post pics of vacuums tommorow. Remember d80 is about 80% polished. Tradition not at all classic not at all 562 light polish. My 500 series either will be a stunner or stunner except hood and nozzle.
Ttfn
