Hi everyone, this post is both an announcement and bug report. I'm about to make a major change to Vacuumland. It's taken many hours of coding and testing to be able to do this, but I "think" I got it working properly.

While I believe I got most of the bugs out when I did this to automaticwasher.org, there may be some issues, so please report it here to me if you are having trouble. If you have any issues or warning messages on your browser, please try a complete reload first. Shift+Refresh/Reload should do the trick.

What I'm doing is moving the site to a more secure platform. Many major website have recently made the move to the more secure https protocol from http, although there are still plenty BIG websites (much bigger than aw or Vacuumland) that have not (ie www.foxnews.com......, www.latimes.com/......, www.startribune.com......, www.sun-sentinel.com......, etc.

Regardless I want to keep the sites as secure and modern as I possibly can.  Thanks everyone for your support and assistance!

Robert,

Thank you for the overhaul! It works great for me so far but I will keep you posted, as you have described, in case I discover any errors related to this.

Hi Robert,

Just ran across a bug.  Went to "delete" my profile pic before uploading another... and after clicking "delete" it went to an error screen.. both from my phone and desktop.

Hey secure is better. I've dabbled in web coding, and I know it's a pain. Thanks for the hard work. Also, I like how all those less secure websites are news companies.

Wow - a totally seamless transition! I did not even know this had been done until i saw this post. I wish all sites going through changes would be this smooth.
100 internet points to you, sir!
