Does anyone know the "chronology" of the Kenmore Progressive canister colors?

Just wondering on this. For first gen Progressive canisters, I've seen hunter and navy (both BOL) and a maroon that I think was TOL because it had the telescopic wand and dirt sensor. I've also seen a blue with clear tool cover and sparkle.

For 2nd gens it gets weirder because I've seen 3 TOL models of different colors. A dark red with touchpad controls, dirt sensor, telescopic wand and LED light, a dark gray with those same features and a bright yellow which had the same features but a slide speed control instead of the touchpads. I've also seen all white and an orange with clear tool covers from this gen but those were BOL I think. I think there was a red with clear tool covers also as a BOL.

The third gens I know, they were always white BOL, purple/blueberry MOL and red TOL and never changed colors.

From what I can figure the first Progressives came out in 1998 or so and ran to 2004. The 2nd gens came out in 2005 and ran to 2010 maybe and the third gens ran from 2010-2015 or so and were probably the shortest run of the three.

It would probably help if I could find some sales ads or something, but I didn't save any fliers, and I didn't go to Sears much before 2010 or so, so I can't remember what was when.

My (now-ex) wife and I bought a maroon one in late 2001. It was a total piece of plasticrap junk!
