Technically this belongs in the Misc. Forum, but that's not important.

As many of you know, my grandfather has been struggling since the beginning of November. We've had several close calls, but he continued to pull through.

We lost him today. Fighting right up until the end. These next few weeks are going to be difficult, so I will not be online much.

He taught me how to fix everything...he's the reason I repair Vacuum sweepers.

For those of you with my landline number, please leave that line open. If you call this week, please call my cell phone.

Hello Andy,

You & your family have my sincere & deepest condolences at this time of your great loss!

It is obvious your grandfather had a tremendous influence both in & on your life.

I want to say to your family, that I hope all the memories that you have of your grandfather (loved-one), will help ease this painful time, just a bit!

Respectfully,

Bill

Andy,
Sorry to hear of your loss. My grandfather taught me much of what I know about fixing things and whenever I'm working on a project, I feel him near. I hope that in time you will come to feel the same.

My condolences as well, to you and your family. It was quite evident how close you and he are/were. You're fortunate, though, to have had him this long. He'll live on, everyday, in you, with all of the things he left behind. That way, tey never really leave.
Sincerely,

John

Thank you all for the kind words.

This is going to be the hardest week of my life. A small handful of collectors had the chance to meet him, and pick his brain. He could fix, or build absolutely anything. I'm thankful he passed that on to me.

I am posting my favorite picture with him, this was taken last July with him and my Grandmother. I'll be taking care of her until she joins him.

So sorry for your loss.
Condolences to you and your family.
It sounds like you learned a lot from your grandfather.
In that sense, a part of him will live on, in you.

Barry
