I stumbled across an image on the internet of this brigth turqoise green Hoover Elite. I have never seen an Elite or for that matter any Hoover in this shade of Green before and wondered if anyone else has?

This is the early/mid 90s Runabout by Hoover. It had a whole matching set. A futura type power nozzle canister, a straight suction spirit type canister, an electric broom, and the upright came with and without headlight. I had the upright without head light new back in like 1992/3

Good vac,great color

In the above picture the bag seems the proper color and the hood, which should match, looks faded/discolored.

I have yet to find one in that color. Here are some of my Elites that are also some great colors.

Oh, ok. The hood was what looked totally different to me. Ive never seen one in such a bright green like that, but that is probably due to the fading as you said.

See reply #17 in the thread linked below.

The vacuum in this thread which I find the strangest is actually Mpybird’s Elite 200 with a blue hood. That is a first for me.

Thanks for sharing, everyone. I like to see the vast variety of Elite-style machines Hoover made back then.

I have still yet to see another color like my Elite 200. I love it though it is a great vacuum.

That Hoover Elite Supreme in hunter is just like the one my grandma got back in 1996. I saw one of those teal Runabouts in Goodwill awhile back. It was in really nice shape and had all of the attachments and extra bags.
