Went to Kane County Flea Market Saturday to sell something I had to a dealer and then wandered around and ran across this Electrolux XII with the brown rubber cord for just a few dollars.

That is rare !!! maybe you could find bags that fit and a hose so you could try it out .That is sweet.

NICE condition -- rare to find the original handle not dry-rotted and crumbling. I suggest you carry the machine around by cradling your arm around the body and not by the handle!

The original hose had a screw-in machine-end coupler and was dark brown or tan (I've seen both) with black dotted striping. The attachment set consisted of a wood floor brush, metal rug nozzle, metal dusting brush, metal upholstery nozzle, fiber crevice tool, sprayer & vaporizer.

I have the hose that screws in.
The XII came with the bakelite connector that takes the screw in hose.
I do have the later connector that takes the style 30 hose as well.

The Model XII takes the same cloth bag as the Model XXX.

I have extra cloth bags and the after motor filters (the XII takes a larger filter than the XXX) for my XII, Early 39 and Late XXX.

My Model XI has a premotor filter but has the screw in bakelite hose connector like the Model XII.

Picture 1 shows the Model XII filter at the top middle, the late Model 30 filter underneath it, the early Model 30 filter to the left with the box and the bakelite hose connectors to the right.

Picture 2 shows the front and back of the Model XII filters
