While I was considering a question posed on another thread (best vacuum for car cleaning), it dawned on me that most power tool manufacturers now make compact portable cordless shop vacuums with removeable/swappable 20 volt batteries. It seems many companies now offer these: DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi and Makita.
Do any Vacuumlanders own any of these? Which ones work best? It seems that these could be better machines for cleaning car interiors as they have more dirt collection capacity, swappable batteries to prolong cleaning time and they can all handle wet debris that is often found in cars in winter. And here is Ryobi’s new wheeled cordless wet/dry shop vacuum...I like the fact that the hose clips securely onto the main canister body:
