Always heard Panasonic was part of this, and indeed the power nozzles used on Panasonic and Kenmore canisters look like Cen Tec. However with Panasonic discontinuing manufacture, I took a look on Cen Tec's site. There don't seem to be as many models.

I was thinking Cen Tec would go away with Panasonic, but not so.
They do still sell the 14" Quietdrive nozzle, definitely used on Panasonic and Kenmore Progressives in the past, the cute Response CT10QD Electric Brush which also had a short run on Panasonic and Kenmore, and CT25QD which I know is used on the current Kenmore Elite Ultraplush canister and also by Panasonic I believe before they got out of the business. The CT16QD Premium Canister & Central Vacuum Electric Power Nozzle is used on current Cleva made Kenmore canister and to my knowledge didn't appear until Panasonic stopped production and was never used by them.

The battery power nozzles I believe we discussed before, they look like older Electrolux nozzles.

So given how some of these Power Nozzles look like those on Panasonic and Kenmore (both Panasonic and Cleva sourced) I'm guessing someone else makes them.

Also, does Hayden make the mini power nozzles Panasonic used and Kenmore uses, such as the old Power Mate Jr and the newer Pet Powermate? Just wondering because the first Kenmore Power Mate Jr looked a lot like the Electrolux Sidekick (I have both Kenmore and Lux versions). The newest Kenmore Pet Powermates they used from Panasonic and Cleva made canisters look like the Electrolux Sidekick II.
