~ I assume this monstrosity is a floor polisher, but it's so strange-looking that who knows?! Can anyone identify it? (The photo is from an eBay listing.) CLICK HERE TO GO TO electrolux137's LINK on eBay

I can’t tell what brand. Possibly a Columbus? These seem prevalent in Europe, and Australia. Someone posted a pic a while back |

Gareth Sheen posted some time back about a Columbus polisher/vacuum that he had in SA. I found a photo of his, while not exactly like the one you have shown, it's pretty close:

Dustless polisher-it is surprising the amount of dust a floor polisher can make. |

If the floor tiles aren't craked, broken or shedding asbestos dust it would be fine. Most asbestos tiles have been taken up intact. If you were sawing, sanding them and such then its a hazard.Intact-no. |
