In this Sears commercial, what is that upright? Also I have this vacuum (the Sears) and it's a pretty good machine, but sometimes the attachments can be annoying.

The Vacuum-

It looks like a modified hoover platinum collection bagless

@fan-of-fans

Hi Cole,

What most vacuum companies do when using a rival companies vacuum, they disguise it or cover over the name plate.

It definitely is a Hoover Platinum Bagless Upright, it looks as though someone making this Sears commercial spray painted the majority of the Hoover black and painted the red inner cyclones, that are visible in the clear canister, grey.

Good eye Cameron!

I have this Hoover, the Bagged Lightweight Platinum set and the Kenmore Canister Vacuum shown as well as the one shown in the end of the video (Purple color). Very similar attachments and great performing cleaners.

Hope this helps.

Patrick

Yep, it’s a Hoover Platinum Collection Cyclonic Upright which has been blacked out for the commercial.

I see, thanks for the info. I do notice now that the nozzle front was clearly a Windtunnel design. Probably not a bad vacuum at all actually.

Patrick, I like your purple Kenmore. That dusting brush and crevice tool look quite nice, I'm thinking of ordering them for my red Progressive because they look like they would be more useful. Mine look like the ones in the video and the dusting brush is kind of bulky. The crevice tool leaks air because of vents it has. Those are my only issues with it really.
