Hey all,

Sorry I only have the one crummy picture.
Can anyone tell me about this vacuum?
Approximately how old it is, who made it, were they sold in stores, are they common, etc.
Thanks in advance for any info!

Barry

Apex 540

Rated in 1948by consumer reports as acceptable, these have the first generation Lamb motor in them, same hose and attachments apex used for years., yes they were sold in stores and vac shops.

I didn't know if the Apex was something rare and/or desirable.
I had never seen one in person.
If these folks won't let me have or buy these neglected vacuums, maybe I'll see if they'll at least let me try to clean them up and play with them a little bit!
