Shaylee, Maverick and I recently went on a small road trip to St. Louis so Uncle Ricky could meet Maverick. We also wantes to stop at Tacony to see some old friends there as well at their Convention.
Here is what I brought home from the Museum. |

Yes that is the original 1959 Electrloux AF WITH THE ORIGINAL GREY PN-1!!!
this was my original Holy Grail machine! The Electrolux model T did not come from tacony but I did get it on that trip, The Bison is model 1,000 and is pretty rare. It was the first model to be sold in stores after they stopped their door to door sales. It is hammer tone green instead of chrome. The brown model would be right after this, The Halo is the original hard body Halo then the came out with their second model which is the same thing Oreck bought. This original is very different, And I got a really good deal on the Oreck POD. |

Hello Family of Maverick’s and All,
I would like to ask Maverick a question as I think he will give me a fantastic answer that I will understand perfectly. I see on the Bison Model 1000 a white lever as in the copy of your picture. It seems that all Bison vacuums after the Model Mark II, which I own, have this white lever. Would Maverick be so kind as to let me know what this white lever does? I have asked this question several times but have never received an answer. I am sure I will get the answer now that Maverick owns a Bison with this white lever. Thank you for looking, Pete

Hello, that lever raises the height of the nozzle. You step down in the metal tab below it to lower and then step on the white tab to raise. Its so very easily breakable that I NEVER step on it. I try not to ever change it.
Tom thank you for selling me the wonderful Electrolux set! I think I asked Tom 10 times are you absolutly sure you want to sell. LOL |

Thank you Phillip and Maverick,
Now I understand. On my Mark II the white lowest peddle when pressed down and then released it automatically raises the nozzle. I did have to repair it when I received as there was a missing screw. After my repair it works perfectly. Thank you for looking Pete
