Hi everybody so I was looking at eBay and searched for Hoover Portapower and happened to see this old stock hose attachment that was never used and I brought it right away because I really love the old Hoover hoses with the aluminum curved wand and it would look great with my DAMs and Portapower si just thought I’d show it to y’all. But the weird thing that would blow your mind is the total was originally $31 but somehow I think the seller thought $31 is too much so I think he let me have for 13 cents!!! So I really wasn’t expecting that so no biggie!

That hose, handle, etc are my favorite too.

Gottahaveahoover, u know something, I think I’m becoming almost like u because I have like 9 Hoovers and some vintage Hoover tools as well.😁 My thinking my next vacuum should be either a Convertible 584 or Portable Suitcase vacuum.

Being like me IS a rather sacary thought.

However, you can't go wrong with either cleaner.
Our attachments were "ultraflex". My aunt's were "Tuflex". I loved it then, as I do now. So, naturally, I scoop as many as I can.

Congrats on your acquisition, Gj!

I'm looking for a hose and attachments, too, but I'm holding out for one from the 1970-73 to go with my Penncrest (Swingette)—the kind with the round-edged floor tool. I think it was '72 or '73, anyway, when Hoover introduced the tool with the squared edges like yours.
