I am not sure what is going on, but my Rainbow D2's motor will not spin freely when the separator is attached. For those who are wondering, it has an acorn nut and I hand tighten it only. I think I might have the wrong acorn nut though, because it looks like part H555 and it should be H524. The spider nut is intact and it is the newer style part R1976 (The white one) as I have a later revision motor with the plastic shroud. If I put a thick washer in between the spider nut and separator, the motor is able to spin freely. So, would I have to order a new spider, and nut? Or, would I have to just replace the separator with the newer R4100 from the D4 series?
