Hey Everyone.........well I decided to start working as a sales rep for the local Aerus Electrolux dealer. It will be just a part time gig but hopefully it won't be too bad. There is only myself and another person in the area so I guess thats not to bad for Columbus. Anyone have any advice or information I should know. I'm meeting with the manager on Tuesday so nothing is solid yet......just wanted some opinions. Thanks

Is Aerus/lux going to get the contact/appointments or do you
have to knock on doors your self? I did that back in the 70's
I did sell one to a friend, who I knew was a died in wool, lux
fan.

I used to work for aerus for a short time. They wanted me to choose between them or my already up and running vacuum shop. Then they said that I could keep my vacuum shop but I could NOT sell ANY trade in electroluxes or I would be shut down. That was a problem because I live in a place where a good used Discovery or Silverado is a HOT item for a vacuum shop. They took them and trashed them. Then we parted on bad terms. I think you will do fine, it is all up to who ever runs that office. The guy that ran our office was an ass. P.s. Look out for a man named Curtis from Colorado. He is or was a big shot for aerus but was a sneek. So how much does a new Guardian twin demmo sell for? When I sold then they were 2499.99 for the vac and floor pro. The vac alone was 1699.99.

Not sure.......

I was told that about this shop here too...the owner stated that they DON'T sell used vacuums, which to me sounded very odd because I've worked for vac shops before and used vacuums espicially your higher end trade ins (filter queen, kirby, rainbow, tristar and electrolux) were your bread and butter. I'm not sure about the pricing yet but I will let you know. I know one thing we will have a problem if I see them pitching perfectly good electrolux's!!!

Heh, I think any of us would be good at selling Vacuums.

I mean, we just -know- the product!
