Hoover Steamvac that had electrically driven Spinscrub brushes? I am aware that they had rebadged Dirt Devil Easy-Steamers with a roller, but I wanted to know if a model was ever released without that damn air turbine.

Gosh I think I have had almost every model,air driven. Just have to keep that intake screen clean

Okay

I only say this because the turbine impeller had snapped in half on my previous Steamvac (I always kept the screen clean.)

Thankfully that turbine unit is cheap. I never liked how it reduces the suction at the nozzle to run the thing though.

I guess Hoover is making the air driven Spin Brush obsolete? Now itís Belt Driven Brushroll type brushes to scrub the carpet...

There is an electric motor driving this one which is not an improvement .This is a horrible machine.
