My only canister vacs. Was told old folks often drop these off to upgrade. That’s a long time to wait!

That's a weird assortment of wand bars for the Connie. But you'll have some of those NLA teflon seals as extras.

It appears that Connie has casters....possibly added? Except for the early ones that didn't float and the hose attached at the top, I thought after that, they all floated............

Love the colors on the Eureka!
I wonder what made them think it was time for an upgrade? Maybe just having fun with their pensions and buying some modern day high tech vacs? lol Those casters look like a homemade job, maybe the floaty mechanism on that one broke or they didn't know it was supposed to float. |

Too bad they put wheels on the Connie. I've seen that on a few on here, the old ones didn't float all that well depending on the flooring. Hopefully you can get it to float again. And that hose looks like it might be from a Slimline, Constellation used the Ultraflex hose. The machine itself sure looks clean though.
The Eureka is in beautiful shape too. Very nice finds on both. It's hard to believe these were actually traded in on new vacuums after all the years. |
