I don't really know what to say...
If they don't need deep cleaning why does every carpet manufatures recommend you do deep clean? I'm not buying the it has no effect on the life of the carpet your health either. I assume the dirt and grit will eventually start wearing down the fibers. Plus, I don't think many people vacuum-savy or not will like the idea of who knows how much dirt and dust is deep down in they're carpets ESPECIALLY IF they have young children. Please tell me this is an elaborate April Fools joke. |

It's a well known fact that dirt trapped deep in the carpet actually destroys the carpet over time when you walk on it. Trapped dirt will grind through the fibers destroying the knapp of he carpet causing the carpet to wear out much faster than normal.
Bring on a good Direct Air cleaner like Kirby or Royal to prevent this from happening!

Let's just chalk this one up to intellectual vacancy... I still feel that the best thing for your carpet is a powerful vacuum (good suction and airflow, enough to move the air and dirt properly) with good thorough agitation to loosen that embedded dirt into the stream of air. Also I've felt for years that letting the bottom plate breathe along the front will help cleaning, experience and observation tell me this. Then have a good shampooing done every so often to remove the dirt the vacuum doesn't. |
