Got a brand new in the box Miele maverick for $100. It's my new favorite machine I own. I'm really impressed with the performance of it.

I have one too

The first time I used it there was this Oh no moment. Its so heavy and cumbersome. If you go slowly its not so bad. Its not something you fling about but I like the width and the giant bag.

@Evilvacuumman

Congrats on a great deal on your Miele!

I want to share my Miele story if you don’t mind. I bought my Miele Swing with the AutoEco in 2012 as a gift to myself. I had quite smoking (two packs a day!) and saved all the money I was spending on cigarettes and then not too many months later, bought my Miele. Just to compare how great your deal is.. even though mine has the electronic and automatic suction control, mine was $800 in 2012.

When I first turned it on, I won’t lie.. I was giddy with excitement and in awe of it’s power. I LOVE my Miele and it’s up at the top of my list of favorites. It does an excellent job at cleaning carpeting and even bare floors. You should have years of worry free use from this excellent quality machine.. WOW $100 bucks is fantastic! Mine has been used often and is still running perfectly with only bag and filter changes... it’s such a great vacuum.

So enjoy your Miele and please let us know later more about how you like it and your experiences with using it. Thank you for sharing with us too. Have a great day!

That's a steal that cost more than that at dealer price!
That's my favorite budget up right now out there right now.

Miele

I am a new member here and just wanted to say hi! I have this exact vacuum, and purchased it last September. It has exceeded my expectations. We just shampooed our carpets for the first time since we purchased the Miele, and I will just tell you that there was virtually no fluff or dog hair that came up when using the shampooer. Previously it would leave clumps of hair behind.

Welcome to Vacuumland.org

I’m a fairly new member here too. I also own this Miele (in silver with AutoEco) and it is a great vacuum. My current collection is about 250 vacuums, majority are current and some are new in box just for collectibles. My name is Patrick and I live in Ohio too. This place is a lot of fun and full of knowledgeable members.. so if you even have questions or need help.. reach out and I’m sure someone will be able to help you.

Glad to have you here and welcome!

~250 vacuums?

Holy cow! I'm sure you have a machine for EVERY task. Your Miele is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the welcome

Thanks Lakewebsterkid,

I bought the Miele in 2012 as a special gift. I used to smoke and I quit in 2011, so I saved up all that money I was spending on cigarettes and about 5 months later, I bought my Miele as a celebration gift.

I do have a lot of vacuums, but I include my hand held cordless, my stick vacuums and all others, not just my full sized uprights, in my count. I also can’t resist a great sale, so when I find a vacuum marked down on clearance.. I usually buy it. LOL I Love the Target store but those orange clearance tags have cause my collection to grow quite a bit.

This Miele and my Miele QuickStep are two of my favorites as I have a soft spot for the quality of German made Miele and Sebo vacuums. My all time favorite vacuums are from Tacony.. my Riccar and Simplicity and Maytag. Now don’t ask me which one is my number one all time favorite as that is too difficult a choice.. they are all like my children. 😂

Anyhow, thanks and welcome to wacuumland!
