Hey, I have an old eureka model g, I was wandering if anyone has any advice on where to find parts(ie: carbon brush, belt, etc). As well I was curious if anyone has tips on greasing bearings on one? Mine still works, but I would like to go over it and can't seem to find much information on one of this age. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance !!

The model G was Eureka's first motor driven brush model, early 1930's. The made many variations during the model G's almost ten year run. The only way to get parts is off another one. My two speed model G has a ball bearing motor, so high temp bearing grease is used. On the sleeve bearing models like the model 9, Vaseline was used as grease (works perfectly).

Thanks for the info! Is there any way to find out what year it is, mine also has the 2 speed motor.
