Of all the Constellations, my favorite is the turquoise Model 454 from 1966. While I very much like the tilted design of the 843, I think the most beautiful version is the 454.

Something I have noticed is how long the hose and wand combination is, nearly a foot longer than most vacuum cleaners and in particular the earlier Electroluxes. It must have been designed by (or for!) a very tall person!! It works just fine although the floor tool is much further away from me than I am accustomed to.

That's a very nice looking Constellation. I have only ever seen one Constellation around here that I can remember and I bought it! I had wanted one since I got back into collecting and lo and behold one turned up. Mine is the tilted version and branded as Penncrest. I like the looks of yours though in the blue. My favorite would probably be that one and the pumpkin colors as well as the Canadian apple green model and the all orange model. Bittersweet orange is nice too, well I guess I like em all. lol
